    • Constant and stable output power: A special laser driver circuit design ensures the laser output power remains at a constant power level as long as there is an available battery voltage.
    • A low battery warning reminds users to change the battery timely.
    • Long battery life(up to 40 hours with AAA batteries)
    • Operates either in CW or Pulsed
    • It is pocket-size, lightweight, and easy to use.
  • Visual Fault Locators (VFLs) emit visible laser radiation that can pose a serious risk of eye injury if proper precautions are not followed.

    ⚠️ WARNING:
Never look directly into the laser beam or into the end of a fiber connected to an active VFL. Exposure to laser radiation may cause permanent eye damage.

    Required Protective Measures:

    • Always wear appropriate laser safety eyewear when operating a VFL.
    • Recommended eyewear must meet or exceed the following minimum specifications:
      • Protection Range: 800–1755nm and 10600nm
      • Optical Density: OD4+ (800–1755nm), OD5+ (10600nm) or higher
      • Standards Compliance: CE EN207 or equivalent
    • Ensure eyewear is undamaged, properly fitted, and suitable for the wavelengths in use.

    Safe Operating Practices:

    • Never point the VFL at yourself or others.
    • Do not view active fibers with the naked eye or optical instruments.
    • Verify all fibers are inactive before inspection when possible.
    • Use appropriate caps or covers on unused connectors.
    • Operate only by trained personnel familiar with fiber optic safety procedures.

    Important Notice:
Failure to follow proper safety procedures may result in serious injury. The user assumes all responsibility for safe operation and compliance with applicable safety standards.
